Maintaining relationship with the customers is much more effective and easier compared to finding new customers. Enhancing lifetime value for the customers should be the top priority for any business to retain customers and increase sales/ subscriptions.

If you wish for your customers to continue a mutually enriching relationship, one of the safest bets would be to communicate with pertinent, valuable content.

A recent study found that more than 75 percent of clients are more than willing to read innovatively written content and that more than 50 percent do not mind receiving communication once a month.

Communicating through monthly newsletters is a great way to keep the memory of your brand fresh in the minds of the customers. Periodic informative mails will tell your customers that you care about them enough to engage with them and stay in touch on a regular basis. Writing content even for Emails or Newsletters has become an art in this millennium.

You only have 3 to 4 seconds to convince the reader to stay on the email and read it BUT you have only a second or two, to make a good impression on the reader.

Consider these ideas to make your email content effective in creating lifetime value for your customer.

  • Imagine the content as a reader. Think about what your readers or subscribers would enjoy and align the content orientation accordingly.

  • Understand the demography of the customers and align your content as per their cultural and traditional ideology.

  • Use a variety of content and assess its appeal to the customers, only then you can get the knowledge of the kind of content your customers would appreciate or ignore.

  • Check the grammar vigorously; bad language would never create value in the customer’s mind.

  • Do not make the content too long to read, at the same time do not make the content too short to put the message across clearly. Balance it right.

  • Format the text for an appealing view. Make it look attractive in the first sight by using attractive Headlines, Images, Colors, and Bold tags.

They say, the content is king. The email content is something which creates value for your brand, if it is done in a logical manner. And your customers would love or loathe your brand because of it. So, choose your words wisely.

When I took over my family business, that is a restaurant I could think of nobody else but TechnoNative to launch a rejuvenated website for me. Not only did they do an excellent job of it but they were really quick too! IT and digital marketing services are their forte. I wish them all the very best!
